The Electronics & Communications segment supplies differentiated materials and systems for consumer electronics, photovoltaics (PV), displays, and advanced printing. In FY2016, the Electronics & Communications segment reported revenue of US$1,960 million, which accounted for 8% of the company’s total revenue. The Industrial Biosciences segment develops and manufactures a portfolio of bio-based products. Its enzymes add value and functionality to processes and products across a range of markets such as animal nutrition, food manufacturing, detergents, ethanol production, and industrial applications. In FY2016, the Industrial Biosciences segment reported revenue of US$1,500 million, which accounted for 6.1% of the company’s total revenue. In FY2016, the other operations reported revenue of US$147 million, which accounted for 0.6% of the company’s total revenue. Geographically, DuPont operates in North America: the US and Canada; Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA): Germany, France, Italy, and Other; Asia Pacific: China, Japan, India, and Other; and Latin America: Brazil, Mexico, and Other. In FY2016, North America accounted for 42.34% of the company’s total revenue, followed by Asia Pacific with 23.59%, EMEA with 23.33%, and Latin America with 10.74%.
