FOX News also owns FOX Business Network which reaches more than 84 million households in the US. In addition, FOX News, through its FOX News Edge service, licenses news feeds to FOX Affiliates and other subscribers to use as part of local news broadcasts throughout the US and abroad. It also produces and operates the FOXNews.com and FOXBusiness.com websites, and also owns and produces the national FOX News Radio Network, which licenses news updates and long form programs to local radio stations and to satellite radio providers. FSN is a regional sports network programmer in the US which focuses on live professional and major collegiate home team sports events. Its sports programming business consists primarily of ownership interests in 15 regional sports networks, various sub-regional feeds and National Sports Programming. FSN has approximately 62 million subscribers and has rights to telecast live games of 43 of 81 US professional sports teams in Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the National Hockey League (NHL); collegiate conferences; and various college and high school sports teams. Fox Sports 1 is a multi-sport national cable network that feature over 850 live events, including college football and basketball, UEFA Champions League, the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup events, National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), the US Golf Association and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Fox Sports 2 is a multi-sports national cable network featuring live events from the UFC and NASCAR and college basketball, rugby, Australian Football League, world-class soccer and motorsports programming. Fox Sports 2 has featured over 450 live events. Fox College Sports comprises three regionally-aligned networks, FCS Pacific, FCS Central and FCS Atlantic. The company's units which produce and acquire motion pictures include Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. The company's Twentieth Century Fox Television business unit produces TV programs for FOX, FX, ABC, CBS, NBC and Turner Broadcasting System. Fox 21 is a production company within Twentieth Century Fox Television devoted to making scripted series for the cable television market and streaming providers. Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. Through Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Film (TCFF), the company distributes motion pictures and other programming produced by units of TCFF, its affiliates and other producers in the US, Canada and international markets in all home media formats, including the sale and rental of DVDs and Blu-rays. In FY2016, the Filmed Entertainment segment reported revenues of $8,505 million, which accounted for 29.7% of the company's total revenue. The company’s Television segment is engaged in the operation of broadcast television stations and the broadcasting of network programming in the US. The company's units in this segment include Fox Television Stations; FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX) and MyNetworkTV. Fox Television Stations owns and operates 28 power stations, including stations located in nine of the top 10 largest designated market areas (DMAs). Of the 28 stations, 17 stations are affiliates of FOX Broadcasting Company. In addition, Fox Television Stations owns and operates 10 stations affiliated with Master Distribution Service (MyNetworkTV). FOX operates 207 FOX affiliates, including 17 stations owned and operated by the company, which reach approximately 99% of all television households in the US. FOX delivers to its affiliates 15 hours of prime-time programming and 60 minutes of late-night programming on Saturday. FOX also distributes programming through its network-branded website, FOX.com and its FoxNow application and licenses programming for distribution through the websites and applications of cable television systems, direct broadcast satellite operators, telecommunications companies and online video distributors. MyNetworkTV is a broadcast programming service. It distributes two hours per night, Monday through Friday, of off-network programming from Twentieth Television and other third party syndicators to its licensee stations. At the end of FY2016, MyNetworkTV had license and delivery agreements covering 190 stations, including 10 stations owned and operated by the company, reaching approximately 98% of the US households. In FY2016, the Television segment reported revenues of $5,105.0 million, which accounted for 17.8% of the company's total revenue. The company’s Direct Broadcast Satellite Television segment consisted of the distribution of programming services via satellite, cable and broadband directly to subscribers in Italy, Germany and Austria. There is no current activity in this segment. The company's other, corporate and eliminations business consists of corporate overhead and eliminations and other businesses. Geographically, the company classifies its operations into three segments, namely the US and Canada, Europe, and Other Geographies. In FY2016, the US and Canada segment accounted for 71% of the company's total revenues, followed by Europe with 12.2%; and Other Geographies with 16.9%.
