Travis Perkins Plc (Travis Perkins) is a multi-channel operator selling a wide range of building and construction materials to the trade and retail consumers. The group's product offering includes building materials, timber, tools and workwear, fixing and adhesives, decorating and interiors, electrical and lighting, doors and joinery, plumbing and heating, kitchens, bathrooms and landscaping materials. Travis operates over 20 businesses from more than 2,000 sites across the UK and Ireland. The group operates through four business divisions: general merchanting, consumer, plumbing and heating, and contracts. The general merchanting division comprises Travis Perkins and Benchmarx Kitchen and Joinery. This division supplies products for all types of repair, maintenance and improvement (RMI) projects as well as for new constructions. The customers of this division include professional tradesmen, ranging from sole traders to national house builders. Travis Perkins supplies to the building and construction trades and operates in the builders' merchant market. Benchmarx Kitchen and Joinery is a supplier of kitchens and joinery products that suit various kinds of businesses from specialist joiners through to local authorities and national house builders. It operates 661 Travis Perkin branches and 172 Benchmarx branches across the UK. As of 31 December 2016, the division reported revenue of GBP2,073.4 million or 33.2% of the company’s total revenue. The consumer division comprises three businesses: Wickes, Tile Giant and Toolstation. Wickes is one of fastest growing national do-it-yourself (DIY) retailer. It offers its products through 241 wicket DIY stores, 267 Toolstation stores, and 109 Tile Giant stores located across the UK. Tile Giant is a ceramic tiles retailer. As of 31 December 2016, the division reported revenue of GBP1,518.2 million or 24.4% of the company’s total revenue. The plumbing and heating division comprises four principal business streams: domestic installer business, contract installer business, independent wholesalers, renewable heating businesses. Domestic installer business comprises of City Plumbing Supplies, Direct Heating Spares (DHS) and PlumbNation. City Plumbing Supplies is a plumbing and heating merchant serving the general plumbing and heating market. DHS is a distributor of domestic heating spares in the UK and operates one distribution center. PlumbNation is a supplier of plumbing and heating products through its online e-commerce platform and its UK contact center operation and operates one distribution center. Contract installer business comprises of Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS), a distributor of bathroom, heating and plumbing products to both public and private sectors. Independent wholesalers business comprises of Birchwood Price Tools (BPT) and F&P Wholesale. BPT is a wholesaler of power tools, hand tools and site equipment. It has three distribution centers in the UK. F&P Wholesale is a distributor of heating, plumbing and bathroom products to independent merchant sector and retailers of fires and bathrooms. Renewable heating business comprises of Solfex Energy Systems, The Under floor heating store and Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS). Solfex Energy Systems is a distributor of solar renewable technology. The Under floor heating store is an online distributor of underfloor heating systems. SBS is a provider of integrated solutions for low carbon construction, energy efficient building and renewable energy projects. The division operates through 336 City Plumbing branches and 88 PTS branches throughout the UK. As of 31 December 2016, the division reported revenue of GBP1,358.9 million or 21.9% of the company’s total revenue. The contracts division consists of three separate businesses trading under the following brands: BSS Industrial Pipeline & Heating Solutions (BSS), CCF and Keyline. BSS is a specialist distributor of pipeline, heating and mechanical services equipment. It operates 61 branches across the UK. CCF is a distributor of interior building products to the construction industry. It provides ceilings, insulation and drywall. It operates in 40 branches in the UK. Keyline is a supplier of civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions in the UK and operates through 80 branches. The division operates through 65 Keyline branches, 61 BSS branches and 41 CFF branches. As of 31 December 2016, the division reported revenue of GBP 1,266.7 million or 20.4% of the company’s total revenue.
