It consists of two sub-segments: fiber network systems, which include optical fiber cables, modular cables and the accompanying materials; and indoor telecom systems, including home networking systems, broadband connectivity, and internet protocol television (IPTV) software solutions, copper cable, connectivity systems and components, and active peripherals. In FY2016, the Telecom Solutions segment reported revenues of EUR168.5 million, which accounted for 12.6% of the company's total revenue. The company's Building Solutions segment provides connectivity systems, including specialty cable and connectivity (systems) for ship building, railways, infrastructure, solar and wind energy and installation and energy cable for niche markets; and security systems, including systems for closed-circuit television (CCTV), video/audio analysis and detection, intercom, access control and registration, central control rooms and retail security. In FY2016, the Building Solutions segment reported revenues of EUR574.9 million, which accounted for 42.9% of the company's total revenue. TKH's Industrial Solutions segment consists of two sub-segments: connectivity systems, offering specialty cable systems and modules for the medical, robot, automotive and machinery construction industry; and manufacturing systems, providing manufacturing systems for the production of tire building systems, can washers, control systems and product handling systems. In FY2016, the Industrial Solutions segment reported revenues of EUR597.6 million, which accounted for 44.6% of the company's total revenue. Geographically, the company classifies its operations into five segments, namely Netherlands, Europe (other), Asia, North America, Other. In FY2016, Netherlands segment accounted for 18.7% of the company's total revenues, followed by Europe (other) with 45.6%; Asia with 19.7%; North America with 12.6%; and Other with 3.4%. The company's subsidiaries include Alphatronics BV, Commend Benelux BV, Ernst & Engbring GmbH & Co. KG, C&C Partners Sp.z.o.o, TKH Asia, Capable B.V., EFB Elektronik GmbH, EEB Kabeltechnik GmbH, TKH France SAS, and VMI Americas Inc.
