The company owns, leases, acquires, disposes of, expands, and operates regional and super-regional shopping centers. Its portfolio includes 23 owned urban and suburban regional and super-regional shopping centers in the US and Asia. The centers are located in metropolitan areas, including Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York City, Orlando, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Sarasota, St. Louis, Tampa, and Washington, District of Columbia. The centers range in size between 236,000 and 1.7 million square feet of gross retail space and between 186,000 and 1.2 million square feet of gross retail space
The smallest center has approximately 60 stores, and the largest has over 250 stores. The company's centers have approximately 3,100 stores operated by the mall tenants under approximately 1500 trade names, and have 53 anchors, operating under 14 trade names. The centers lease over 93% of Mall GLA to national chains, including subsidiaries or divisions of Forever 21 (Forever 21, For Love 21, XXI Forever, and others), The Gap (Gap, Gap Kids, Baby Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and others), H&M and Limited Brands (Bath & Body Works/White Barn Candle, Pink, Victoria's Secret, and others).
The company through its subsidiary, Taubman Properties Asia LLC and its subsidiaries (Taubman Asia) operates in China and South Korea and focuses on owning, managing, and/or leasing retail real estate projects in Asia.
