Digirad also offer modalities of: mobile cardiac telemetry (MCT), mobile cardiac event monitoring (both in wireless and analog versions), holter monitoring, and pacemaker analysis. The segment's services are primarily provided to cardiologists, internal medicine physicians, and family practice doctors who enter into contracts for a set number of service days ranging from once per month to five times per week. In FY2016, the diagnostic services segment generated revenue of US$48.30 million, which accounted for 38.4% of the company’s total revenue. The company’s mobile healthcare segment offers contract diagnostic imaging such as PET, CT, MRI, and healthcare expertise to hospitals. In FY2016, the healthcare segment generated revenue of US$47.20 million, which accounted for 37.6% of the company’s total revenue. Digirad's diagnostic imaging segment is engaged in sale of solid-state gamma cameras and post-warranty camera support contracts. It is also involved in the sale of imaging systems to physician offices, hospitals and imaging centers in the US. The company sells nuclear imaging cameras for nuclear cardiology and general nuclear medicine applications. The company's Cardius family of cardiac SPECT (single photon emission computerized tomography) solid state imagers facilitates to image patients of up to 500 pounds in sitting position. It offers fixed dual-head and triple-head cardiac camera models for utilizing it within a facility and portable dual-head configuration to move the system to provide service to multiple rooms or sites. The company also offers Cardius XACT SPECT/CT system, with triple-head design and a low dose volume computerized tomography (CT) attenuation correction methodology. In FY2016, the diagnostic imaging segment generated revenue of US$13.87 million, which accounted for 11.0% of the company’s total revenue. The company’s Medical Device Sales and Services segment engaged in the Philips Healthcare and sells Philips branded imaging and patient monitoring systems. It also provides warranty and post-warranty services on certain Philips equipment. In FY2016, the Medical Device Sales and Services segment generated revenue of US$16.08 million, which accounted for 12.8% of the company’s total revenue. Digirad also offers ergo planar portable imaging camera for hospitals with multi-camera general nuclear medicine departments, academic centers, pediatric hospitals, regional trauma centers, women's health centers and cancer centers.
