The dmg Information segment encompasses a portfolio of companies operating in the property information, education and energy sectors. Its portfolio of information businesses includes EDR, Landmark, SearchFlow, Xceligent, Trepp, SiteCompli, Build FAX Property History, Hobsons, Genscape and Agrisk. In FY2016, the dmg Information segment reported revenues of £498.2 million, which accounted for 26% of the company's total revenue.
The Euromoney segment operates through Euromoney Institutional Investor, a business-to-business information group focusing on asset management, capital markets and commodities sectors. It provides data and research and runs conferences, seminars and training courses. It also provides digital information, research, pricing and data services as well as organizes events. Key brands under this business include Euromoney, Metal bulletin, Global Capital, BCA Research, Ned Davis Research Group, among others. In FY2016, the Euromoney segment reported revenues of £403.1 million, which accounted for 21% of the company's total revenue.
The company's RMS segment offers risk models, software applications, and analytical data services used by the global risk and insurance industry to quantify and manage catastrophic risks. Its clients include insurers, reinsurers, trading companies and other financial institutions. In FY2016, the RMS segment reported revenues of £205.0 million, which accounted for 10.7% of the company's total revenue.
The company's dmg Events segment organizes B2B exhibitions and conferences focusing on the energy, construction, interiors, hotel and hospitality sectors. Its portfolio of businesses include Adipec, hotel show, Global petroleum show, Gastec and the BIG 5 International & Construction Show and Index Design Series. In FY2016, the dmg Events segment reported revenues of £105.4 million, which accounted for 5.5% of the company's total revenue.
In addition, the company holds stakes in businesses, in joint ventures and associates. DMGT holds equity stake in Zoopla Property Group which is a property search engine. Its portfolio consists of Zoopla, PrimeLocation, uSwitch, Property Software Group and Hometrack.
Geographically, the company classifies its operations into five segments, namely the UK, Australia, North America, Rest of Europe and Rest of the World. In FY2016, the UK segment accounted for 53.4% of the company's total revenues, followed by Australia with 0.9%; North America with 37.3%; Rest of Europe with 2.5% and Rest of the World with 6%.
