The company has operations in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific regions. The company operates its business through three subsidiaries: Cox Communications, Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group (CMG). Cox Communications is a broadband communications and entertainment company that provides advanced digital video, internet, telephone and home security and automation services over its own nationwide internet protocol (IP) network. For businesses, it offers high speed internet, phone and long distance services, as well as data and video transport services. Cox Communications operates through Cox Business and Cox Media. Cox Business is a facilities-based provider of voice, video and data solutions for commercial customers; and Cox Media is a provider of national and local cable spot and digital media advertising. Cox Communications serves approximately six million residences and businesses. In FY2016, Cox Communications reported revenues of $11,000 million, which accounted for 54.7% of the company's total revenue. Cox Automotive is engaged in offering vehicle remarketing services and digital marketing and software solutions for automotive dealers and consumers. Cox Automotive includes Manheim, AutoTrader, Kelley Blue Book, vAuto, NextGear Capital, and a range of global businesses and brands serving customers such as auto dealers, manufacturers and financial institutions. It has 33,000 team members in more than 200 locations and is partner to more than 40,000 auto dealers, as well as most major automobile manufacturers. In FY2016, Cox Automotive reported revenues of $7,300 million, which accounted for 36.3% of the company's total revenue. CMG is an integrated broadcasting, publishing, direct marketing and digital media company that includes the advertising representative firms, CoxReps. CMG currently include 14 broadcast television stations and one local cable channel, more than 60 radio stations, six daily newspapers and more than a dozen non-daily publications, and more than 100 digital services. CMG operates in more than 20 media markets and reaches approximately 52 million Americans weekly, including more than 31 million TV viewers, more than 3.5 million newspaper readers, and more than 14 million radio listeners. In FY2016, CMG reported revenues of $1,800 million, which accounted for 9% of the company's total revenue.
