It made a transfer, collaboration and license agreement agreement with GlaxoSmithKline Intellectual Property Development Limited and Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp to use the company’s CodeEvolver protein engineering technology platform in the discovery and development of proteins. Codexis manufactures enzymes at its own facility in Redwood City, California, the US along with a third party contract manufacturing facility in Kapfenberg, Austria.
