It also provides instrumentation fittings and sampling systems such as sight glasses and gauge valves; and liquid level controllers, liquid level switches, needle valves, pilot operated relief valves, plugs & probes pressure controllers, pressure regulators, and safety relief valves. In FY2016, the Energy segment Solutions segment reported revenue of US$322.05 million, which accounted for 54.6% of the company’s total revenue. The Advanced Flow Solutions segment provides landing gear components, manufactures and markets control valves, regulators, fluid controls, actuation systems, automatic recirculation valves, electro-mechanical controls, pneumatic controls, and other flow control products and systems. The company targets aerospace and defense, power and process, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), maritime, and industrial gas applications. In FY2016, the Advanced Flow Solutions segment reported revenue of US$268.21 million, which accounted for 45.4% of the company’s total revenue. The company offers its products and services to end-user customers, such as oil companies, power generation, and process industries, as well as engineering, procurement, and construction companies, through direct sales, sales representatives, distributors and agents. CIRCOR provides its energy products under various brands, such as KF Valves, Pibiviesse, Circle Seal Controls, Contromatics, CPC Cryolab, Dopak Sampling, GO Regulators, Hoke, Gyrolok, Hydroseal, Laurence, Leslie Controls, Mallard Control, Nicholson Steam Trap, Pipeline Engineering, Rockwood Swendeman, RTK, Spence Engineering and Texas Sampling. CIRCOR carries out research and development (R&D) activities to develop new and innovative products. The company has an engineering and technology center in India. In FY2016, CIRCOR spent US$5.9 million on R&D. The company operates 19 manufacturing facilities in North America, Western Europe, North Africa, and South Asia. It sells products through approximately 800 distributors or representatives, and to end-user customers.
